The Moser Group, Inc. & Union Power Cooperative Give Back to Common Heart

            During the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, it can be difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Small and large business alike are shut down, millions have lost their jobs and more families than ever are struggling to put food on the table.

            For 14 years, Common Heart has been a vital part of the Union County, NC, community to provide much-needed resources to the most vulnerable during difficult times. Common Heart is a group of individuals who come from various backgrounds, ethnicities, socio-economic conditions, and faiths, who are motivated to make a difference in the lives of their neighbors. The non-profit organization puts personal faith and values into service through food pantries, economic empowerment and adult literacy. 

            In order to help Common Heart’s efforts, The Moser Group, Inc., and Union Power Cooperative have partnered to make a donation to Common Heart in response to the current crisis we are all facing together. Both headquartered in Union County, the two businesses have strong ties to the community. This donation will help Common Heart with their food pantries attended by many families who have never needed a food pantry before. We, together with Union Power Cooperative, hope to boost the spirits of the community to know that we will get through this together.
