Kevin joined The Moser Group in 2014 to lead The Moser Group’s newly created Hotels and Golf Course division. In this role, he will leverage his vast appraisal experience to provide brokerage services for our hotel and golf course clients throughout the Southeastern United States. Kevin is a Charlotte native and brings over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has been actively appraising hotel/lodging and golf facilities since the early 1990s.
Kevin began his career as a consultant providing market and financial feasibility studies for large-scale commercial real estate projects and public assembly facilities for a national accounting firm. Since 1997 he has owned and operated McDaniel Associates, Inc. providing commercial real estate appraisal and consulting services. Over the past 22 years he has specialized in providing appraisals for lodging and golf course properties. In addition he has experience with numerous types of general commercial real estate including office, retail, industrial, residential, and special purpose projects.
Education & Affiliations
Kevin has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master’s of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Finance from the Crummer School of Business – Rollins College. He holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, is a licensed state-certified general real estate appraiser in North and South Carolina, and is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina. He is a past President of the Metrolina Section of the North Carolina Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
